The staff were friendly , the toiletries good.

Not clean , aircon not cold enough , floor dirty

The breakfast was sumptuous & the location is convenient- accessible to food, shopping centre's & jetty.

The music from the discotheques below was rather disturbing.

The service staff such maintenance staff, bell boys, front service counter were all good and polite. They were very forthcoming in providing help and assistance. The location was good. Most of the seafood eateries and new joints such as Korean BBQ and Thail Hot Pot restaurant are located within the vicinity of the hotel. Breakfast was normal but was improved abit. The tvs are now working showing Vasantham this time.

The room which my mum stayed - notice stain on the bed linen when we checked in. However, the Housekeeping supervisor helped to change to the opposite room. My wife's room - water was leaking from the mini fridge however it was rectified by the next day.

Hotel room was relatively clean. Spacious - They gave us connecting rooms for 1 adult and 2 kids. The swimming pool. The Starbucks cafe downstairs next to the hotel.

The room we had was likely directly above the hotel's nightclub. The sound coming from the nightclub downstairs was really bad for my sleep when i switched aircon off due to my mistake of not being able to find the control panel for each individual lighting. The vibration of the sound reverberated through the walls. The second night was better, as I found the light button panel and managed to keep the aircon on while switching off the lights using the control panel for individual lights. The vibration from the nightclub music was less visibly felt. Traffic was really bad too on the way in to the hotel at dinnertime. Took a very long time to travel a short distance from City Square back to the hotel on the road leading to the hotel. The bathroom was clean but very very old. They did not upgrade the hotel fittings likely for last 20 years? The finishing of the bathroom wooden door was very badly damaged / chipped. The hotel tried to save money by not switching on aircon in the central area. Hotel central area was very musty smelling as a result. I saw buckets on the floor, to capture leaks from the ceiling. The spa at the hotel called NZ Spa, was not owned by the hotel. When my kids and I tried to check it out, the whole place smelled of cigarette smoke and they immediately told me they are not part of the hotel. They likely serve a different clientele.

The hotel doesn’t have room with twin bed and shower enclosure. All the rooms come with bath tub. As I have just had knee replacement surgery it was dangerous for me to climb over the bath tub

Had to change rooms , as door key mechanism couldnt work, second room - no electricity, third room - stains on carpet ,pillows, toilet leaking

most of the shop are closed in the shopping centre next to the hotel.

It was located nearby a lot of seafood restaurants and just beside the Straits of Johor. Breakfast is fine.

The main lift was not working on the day we check out. So we had to use an alternative lift which was rather old and we had to carry our luggage down the stairs by one level to reach the lift on the 14th level as we were staying on the 15th level. We had to walk quite a distance from the carpark on the upper level to the lift nearest to the reception. The aircon was not working well at first but luckily the maintenance team manage to attend to the case and fix the problem. The furniture is old generally.

My friend who shared the room with me told me that the breakfast has improved and the good new is the SPA is finally operating after the borders reopened in 2022. The service at spa was good as in old days. The room is good. This time they had 2 chairs and the aircon was working well. Room was clean.

I strongly suggest that the management should look into replacing the televisions in all rooms. All not working. I have been visiting the hotel on a monthly basis and the TVs are always not working. They have replaced their phones finally, which is good. Now they should consider changing TVs and most importantly the don't telecast programmes from Vasantham. Try to tune in to vasantham too. Thanks.

Nice location overlooking Singapore and the JB bridge.

Running water and shower was slow and broken. hotel needs to be updated as it looks like something out of Munafik. Couldn’t find the buffet.
